Born and raised in New England, Monique Sadarangani traveled to Hawai’i as a teenager to attend college at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, where she graduated with a joint degree in Psychology and Religious Studies. Monique resided on the island of Oahu for many years, continuing her education with a Masters degree in Asian Religions and doing her thesis research while living in India, while also working in student affairs at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Monique decided to return to New England where she grew up, at which time she decided to obtain her law degree. She graduated from Suffolk University Law School, cum laude, where she was also a member of the Journal of High Technology Law and was subsequently published by the journal. Upon graduating from law school, and with a desire to practice in the area of trusts and estates, Monique continued her legal education at the University of Miami, where she obtained her LL.M. degree in Estate Planning from the prestigious Heckerling Institute. Monique currently shares her time between Massachusetts and Florida, where she manages her practice. She is the proud single mother of her son and two fur babies. In her free time, she enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, as she is also a certified yoga instructor.
