Evey M. Diaz

I focus my practice exclusively in the area of Domestic Relations and cover the full spectrum of family law issues. I received my undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and my Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law in 2010 and was admitted to practice before the Massachusetts Bar that same year.

I began my practice at a prestigious boutique family law in Boston’s financial district from 2011 until 2016 working alongside the Honorable Melanie J. Gargas before being appointed to the bench of the Middlesex Probate and Family Court in 2016. Thereafter, I practiced on Nantucket before returning to the Boston area, joining the firm of Partridge Ankner, LLP in Boston’s back bay.  I am practicing at the firm of Casner & Edwards in Boston's seaport district, providing counsel in complex divorces and post-divorce proceedings, involving the modification of judgments, contempt and removal complaints.

I was born in Athens, Greece have been on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bar Association and am fluent in Greek.  I am a member of the Massachusetts Family and Probate American Inn of Court and sit on the Board of Directors for the MA Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

I am a court-certified Guardian ad Litem, who is frequently appointed to conduct child custody evaluations for the Probate and Family Court.   I received my certification through the William James College and am on the court list of appointees.  I also served proudly volunteer my time to the Court for the Bar Conciliation Program and the Abber We Can Settle Initiative.

Lastly, I serve on our firm's DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee and act as the Family Law Chair of our Summer Internship Program.
